The Modern World Needs an Ethical and Sustainable Production Process;
*We use local resources for all rugs.
*We take care to complete the production process in locations close to each other in order to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum, from yarn production to post-weaving maintenance.
*For the rugs in the collection, we cooperate with women artisans who have difficulty finding work due to the decrease in demand for hand-woven rugs and the replacement of machine-made rugs, and we pay them exactly the price they demand.
*Due to our environmental responsibility, we use 100% local wool, a renewable material, and we dye this wool with plants growing in different regions of Anatolia.
*We analyze the amount of water we spend during the dyeing phase and work on how we can use our water resources more efficiently in the subsequent dyeing process.
*We save the excess warp threads to use as carpet knots in the next weaving.
*Finally, we are trying to cooperate with cooperatives and train new weavers in order to develop this craft and sustain it in Anatolia.
